Rara National Park is a park located in the lap of a mountain that is small in size. Rara Lake is situated in the park, which is also the deepest and biggest freshwater lake in Nepal.

The park is a haven for thousands of species. 1500 species are flora and fauna, including indigenous Himilayan creatures like red pandas, Himalayan black bears, snow leopard, mountain tahrs and so on.

 

Everest Base Camp

Location: Khumjung, Nepal

Best time to visit: March to May and September-October

Entry fee: The base camp lies inside the Sagarmatha National park and the Gaurishankar Conservation Area, and entrance fees for both has to be paid. For the first one, it is NPR 1695 for residents of SAARC countries, NPR 3390 for other foreigners (all inclusive of VAT), and for the second – NPR 226 for residents of SAARC countries, NPR 2260 for other foreigners.

The world is well known for the highest mountain on the planet Earth which is known by the name Mount Everest. The mountain lies in Nepal and some lower parts of china. Lumbini is a great destination where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Gautam Buddha. At the same time, it is the most important pilgrimage destination for Buddhists. Hundreds of thousands of people visit around the world to visit the amazing destination Lumbini each year.

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National park lies in the southern Terai plains of Nepal. This place is not only recommended for animal lovers but also for photographers and many other visitors. The lush green jungle, hundreds of species of birds, animals, medicinal herbs, and the lakes combine, making a better landscape to live in here.

UNESCO World Heritage Site enlists this park due to the dominance of the Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned Rhinoceros, Gharial crocodile, etc. This is an absolute place for bird watching, jeep safaris, canoeing etc., inside the deep green jungle.

Kopan Monastery

Location: Budhanilkantha Municipality, Kathmandu

The holiest temple in our country Nepal, is Pashupatinath  Temple. This place is located at the bank of another sacred river Bagmati. Lord Pashupatinath is also an avatar of Lord Shiva and makes pagoda-style architecture.

This is the best place to take hundreds of photographs of its art and architecture, as many as 518 temples, ashrams, and monuments. The biggest festival celebrated in this Pashupatinath is Shivaratri, also known as Lord Shiva’s Birthday.
