The 16-day trip starts at Kathmandu where you indulge in quick sightseeing of the famous UNESCO world heritage sites like Swayambhunath Temple and Pashupatinath Temple. Then, you fly to Bhutan to discover the unique culture and cuisines.
You arrive at the international airport in Paro and then catch a quick ride that leads you to the capital Thimpu. One fascinating thing about Thimpu is that it does not have any traffic lights.
The next day, you visit the revered Tiger’s Nest Monastery, National Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong and Buddha Dordenma. After exploring these landmarks, we make our return back to Kathmandu and explore the traditional side of the capital through old Kathmandu walk where you discover old houses, markets and cultural hubs of the Newar.
The next stop is Pokhara, where you visit the famous Phewa Lake and hike up to the World Peace Pagoda to see panoramic views of Pokhara and mountain ranges like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You also visit Mahendra Cave, Davis Fall, Mountain Museum and Sarangkot (for sunrise).
Then you head south to Chitwan to experience the wilderness and nature. On arriving at Chitwan, you refresh and take a nature walk to enjoy the flora and fauna. Then, you enjoy the Tharu cultural show and do jeep safari, canoe ride and jungle walk next day at Chitwan National Park. You head back to Kathmandu and enjoy the exceptional culture of Bhaktapur. Then you complete the last leg of the tour by flying to Lhasa.
At Lhasa, you visit famous landmarks like the holy Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery, Tibet Museum, and Barkhor Square. After visiting these sites, we head back to Kathmandu where this 16 days tour will end. You can do this tour all year round but the best time to enjoy to the fullest is autumn and spring seasons.
