Trishuli River rafting begins at Charaudi, around 84 kilometers west of Kathmandu. It is one of the most popular rafting destinations in Nepal due to its easy accessibility from Kathmandu.
Rafting in Trishuli cuts its way through the Mahabharata range and offers remarkable views of the valleys, hills, and gorges. Bouncy waves and rapid whirlpools make rafting a lot more exciting as well as challenging. In the monsoon, the waves are high and wild and become challenging even for the experienced rafters. Rafting will go on for hours providing you enough time for swimming and cliff jumping in between. After reaching the endpoint of the rafting, a company vehicle will drive you back to the resort.
You drive west from the Kathmandu Valley to Charaudi via Malekhu. After reaching the riverside area, you can stroll around the place and soak in the natural scenery. Later, you meet the rafting leader and collect your rafting gear. While rafting you can enjoy the views of the riverside landscapes and even witness wildlife in the banks and forests. The rafting will last for around four hours and after completing the adventure, you head to explore the areas around your night stay.
You can spend the morning walking around the forest and relishing the sunrise. Your departure will be according to your preferences and a comfortable drive will take you to Pokhara or back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching the destination of your choosing, you can stroll around the city.
