After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you’ll be immediately transferred to your respective hotel. The second day is scheduled for sightseeing and trek preparation.
On this day, you gather your essentials for the trek and also explore the UNESCO world heritage sites in the valley. On the 3rd day, you’ll take a scenic drive to Syange from Kathmandu.
Along the way, you’ll cross small towns of Dumre and Besisahar. The trail passes through the settlement of Jagat and proceeds towards Dharapani. Similarly, crossing the settlement of Chame, Pisang, Manang, and Yak Kharka, you’ll take a steep climb to the top of the ridge which finally leads the way towards Thorang La High Camp. From here, you’ll continue your journey towards Thorang La Pass (5416m), one of the biggest passes in Nepal.
The pass offers panoramic views of the mountains in the Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Muktinath Himal ranges. Descending along the rocky trail, you arrive at the Muktinath Temple, a revered pilgrimage site among Hindu and Buddhists.
Moving forward, you’ll now trek towards Tatopani via Marpha and Kalopani.
