Everest 3 Passes Trek is a challenging adventure in the Khumbu region designed especially for experienced trekkers. The trek takes you to remote and rugged areas culminating at the top of three of the most illustrious passes, namely, Renjo La (5360m), Cho La (5420m), and Kongma La (5535m). The trek covers most of the Everest region on its loop route accompanied by the Himalayas like the Mt. Everest (8848m) and Ama Dablam (6856m). Along with the graceful companionship of the Sherpa inhabitants, the trip is a remarkable exploration of the entire Khumbu region.
Beginning with your arrival in Kathmandu, you take the day to prepare for the trek and tour around the UNESCO world heritage sites in the valley. The trek begins slowly towards Namche during which you can see beautiful waterfalls, plenty of stupas and lush forests. Namche is the major trade hub of the Khumbu region and also offer plenty of modern luxuries to the travelers. From Namche, you will head towards Tengboche and continue to Chhukung via Dingboche. You cross the first pass Kongma La Pass (5535m) en route to Lobuche.
You make your way to Everest Base Camp from Lobuche via Gorakshep. The base camp is the marquee destination in the Khumbu region which is also a viewpoint to relish the sights of the Khumbu Glacier and mountains like Nuptse (7861m) and Pumo Ri (7165m). Next stop on the trek is Kalapatthar which is famous for amazing views of the Mt. Everest (8848m) and its ranges. You will come across the second pass Cho La (5420m) to reach Dzongla. Before crossing the final pass Renjo La, you explore the turquoise Gokyo lakes and hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m). Descending back to Lukla, a short flight to Kathmandu ends the journey. Everest Three Passes Trek is not like a walk in the park it requires serious physical fitness.
Nepal Alibaba Treks has been arranging treks and mountain expeditions in the Khumbu region for a long time. Our trek guides are the local Sherpas and know the surroundings like the back of their palm. Other services of transportation and accommodation will also be of the finest quality.
