Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding

This is the first day of your trek, we will transfer you to the airport. You will reach Lukla by 40 mins flight. You will meet your porter in Lukla and trek to Phakding.
The journey is a pleasant one as we head towards Namche Bazaar. The trail leading out of Phakding takes on the lush green forests adorned with pine and cedar trees moving through vibrant hamlets including Monjo and Jorsalle. Monjo also marks our entry into the Sagarmatha National Park as we ascend through the hilly trail reaching Namche in time to witness stunning views of Thamserku (6,608m) and Kongde Ri (6,187m). Overnight in Namche.
Today is the day for rest and acclimatization. In the morning, you can hike up to the nearby viewpoint and enjoy the splendid views of the Himalayas. You can also hike to the Everest View Hotel, famous for offering panoramic views of the Himalayas including the Mt. Everest (8848m). Later, you return to Namche and prepare for the trek.
This day is the second last day of our journey. After reaching Lukla we will say goodbye to our porters and we will stay overnight at Lukla.
The day begins early as flights out of Lukla are carried out early in the morning, if the weather is fine. Back at Kathmandu we directly head to the hotel freshening up from the days of the travel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
