Mount Kanchenjunga is the world’s second-highest peak after Mount Everest in Nepal but the third highest mountain in the world after Mt. Everest and Mt. K2. The mountain is 8,586m above sea level.

It is located in the eastern part of Nepal, and this mountain is said as ‘Kanchen’ and Dzong, which means “The Five Great Treasures of the Snow,” is delivered in the Tibetan language. It has five different peaks they are Kanchenjunga in the south with a height of 8594, Kanchenjunga in the west (8505m), Kanchenjunga I (8586m), and Kangbachen (7903m).

The third world’s highest mountain lies on the border between Sikkim and Nepal, which is almost far away in the remote place. It deliberately attracts a lesser number of tourists. On the other hand, it has the mystery, charm, and beauty of the Himalayan Kanchenjunga.

History Of Expedition of Mt. Kanchenjunga

Initial Journey to Kanchenjunga
